Insurance is about people, not money or property – a fact insurance companies all too often forget. When people call me after having a claim denied or benefits terminated, they may be angry, or exhausted, or too sick to process what is happening. They may be all of the above. But every person who has called me is scared of what the denial means for their future.

Are they losing their medical benefits? Their ability to pay the mortgage? The money they had been promised for their future? The home their family lived in for generations? Many people are still trying to process the disaster that has hit their lives, whether it is disability, the death of a loved one, the loss of independence, the loss of a home. They may not have the capacity to fight their insurer on top of it.

We know. We know all of it. And we know how hard it was to get to the point where you needed to call a lawyer.

Lawyers don’t have a reputation of being a warm and safe harbor. At Monahan Tucker Law, we’re hoping to change that. We are here for you.
